And that’s not all…
Beyond the savings, LED also has plenty of other benefits over older types of lighting.
- It emits less or no UV light. So what? Well it is less likely to attract bugs for one thing!
- LED operates at a higher frequency flicker rate. This means the flicker is not perceptible to the human eye, so less headaches and better quality of light for home video recording.
- Less heat energy produced. This not only makes the lamp much more efficient than say a halogen, but also means it is never going to get uncomfortably hot stood underneath an LED lamp.
